Two primary tumors

Has anybody on this board been diagnose with two primary site in the throat?

    No. Just one. But I was warned that there could be more than one primary. Apparently it isn't that uncommon. Mine was base of tongue. My ENT took out my tonsils, because of the high likelihood that there could have been another tumor there. He didn't find a second one.

    Primary/Secondary
    Seems the norm is usually a primary and secondary....

    For me the tonsils (right) were the primary, and I had a secondary which was a lymph node on the same side.

    NPC, and they even did a 2nd last-minute biopsy in hopes of finding the Primary, but never did. Does it hold that any Primary tumors found get surgically removed, rather than aced with the rads?
