Bob's PET Scan Results

Well Bob had his 1st post Cancer PET Scan last Wednesday....He did NOT tell me he had to go in on Friday for the results. I was asleep and heard him shower and get dressed..thought nothing of it until he said do I look ok? I said for what? He said I am going for my results...OMG I could not get up and get ready and dressed felt terrible, he was in such a rush all I could do is say good luck and sent him a text msg saying I love you and I knoiw everything will be ok..I just know it..and it WAS! They said after he ngoes to the Dr who put in his Feeding Tube and Port because the 2 spots near his lugs r still there they want bhim to see this Dr. He will be able to FINALLY go back to work and try to have a somewhat normal life again. I don't think he will be able to go Fulltime but he may surprise us...:)) There is HOPE he was stage 4 his jaw was all Tumor, his tougne pallette..it all sounded so horrible and now he has had 2 clear PET Scans!! The last one was in May and this one was good too..how many years do people have to keep getting them until it is not nessasary anymore? Is it 3 or 5 years??? Each one will be scarry, but I think everything will be ok from now on...may everyone get some good news. Thank you all here and good luck to everyone who is just starting this journey, it is not fun at all but when you hear a good outcome it gives much HOPE and so many gave us HOPE and now everything is ok...we count our blessings...can't wait to get back on normal Insurance no more COBRA...the premiums are way too high..life is good and I wish nothing but goodness to everyone here:)
