    Great news!
    Thanks for sharing.

I am 5 months out, and I'm not doing shakes any more. Didn't even have that many when I was in treatment. I enjoy a lot of organic vegetables cooked with olive oil until they are soft and slide down easily.

    Congratulation's
Great new's on your clean scan! There are so many recipies out there for smoothies & shakes
etc. I also bought myself a juicer so that I could get more fruit & vegetables into my diet. I got tired of tasting sweet so made my own shakes with soy milk, protien powder that I purchased in a huge jar at the health food store added yogurt & a ton of fruit. I sort of made up my own according to what appealed to me in taste. I am 8 month's post treatment & have been eating food & have not used my tube for over three month's. Your body will let you know when it is ready to do so.

    Awesome news!!!
So happy for you!!! I don't have any recommendations for you because I ate anything I could eat or drink that still tasted good. I did drink Ensure Plus for a while after treatment to help me gain some weight back but other than that it was just hit and miss. If it tasted good and I could swallow it I ate it :)

Hoping you continue to do well and that you will celebrate the wonderful news you received.

    Stay well,
    Glenna

    Nice news
...survivor friend. you've done so well and come a long way since the bad old times.

All fresh vege juices are good. Mix them up. You can also google 'Green Smoothies' as great source of good nutrition an Anti 'C' food.

Congratulations! So happy with scans like that. You worked hard for it. Here's a smoothie favorite of mine:
    1 cored apple
    4 large romaine lettuce leaves
2 large kale or collard green leaves
    1/2 cup frozen blueberries
    1 peeled small lemon
    1 small clove garlic
    1 cup red grapes
    1 celery stalk
2 cups soy milk or almond milk or hemp milk
    4 or 5 ice cubes

Blend it all up until totally liquid. You can change the consistency/quantity of it by adding water or reducing the amount of soy milk. Change up the flavor by changing up the quantity of fruit or reducing or increasing the garlic. Sometimes I throw in a half cup of sesame seeds to add some calories. Use your imagination and have fun with it. Again, congratulations! Thanks for sharing the great news.

    Great news, congrats!
I really miss using my juicer, but fruits still burn my tongue. I liked to juice one apple, one orange, and one carrot, which I would add my liquid vitamins to. Lunch I would juice again with one green apple, one cup baby spinach leaves, one cucumber, some green grapes and a little flat leaf parsley. It's a variation of dr oz mehmets green smoothies.

I miss being able to juice my tongue still hurts bad with fruit. I would do an apple, carrot, and orange with my liquid multivitamin in there. Lunch I would have the juice from one cucumber, one green apple, one cup baby spinach, a few green grapes, and a bit of parsley. It's a take off on Dr. Oz's green smoothie. You can google it to find that recipe. Actually you can find a ton of them on line, that's where I got mine. :).

    PET/CT Scan
Congratulations, survivor. That is great news and I am happy for you. In about two weeks, I go for my full body PET/CT as well. This is the first one for me since surgery and radiation, so I am in high hopes that it turns out as well as yours did.
