Done with chemo and radiation!!

Yesterday was my last radiation. YEAH! I just have 8 months of Herceptin left which should be much easier than what I have just gone through. I am so relieved to be over the bulk of the treatment. I took cake and a bottle of champagne to my book making class last night so we could celebrate and I just want to keep celebrating. So Congtratulations to all the other women who are done with chemo and/or radiation!

    So glad to hear you've moved forward in your journey. Hopefully the next 8 months of Herceptin will pass quickly. Just celebrate that you've completed chemo & rads! Yah!

    Man!! I'm loving all the good news around here.. Congratulations!!! I'm sure you can do the herceptin standing on your head after what you have been through. My Dr said there is no side effects with the herceptin alone. Have a good time celebrating! Yippee!!!! Kay,

    Thanks everyone for the support and for sharing my good news. It is sooo great to be finished with those two big one, well three if you include the surgery I had in the beginning.

    This evening I had a drank Belgium Peach beer with a friend, it was super yummy and fun. I have tomorrow off work so I can go do something for myself.

    awwwwwh .. heavy crown ? Congratulations on a job WELL DONE! Take care and listen to your body - rest when possible - and most important piece of advise I can offer ... Go out and LIVE LIFE ...:-)

    Yes, it is something to celebrate! I completed chemo on July 21st and radiation on Oct 13th and the feeling is great. Enjoy and celebrate, it is something worth celebrating..

    Miriam, Glad to hear you're
    Miriam, Glad to hear you're thru the rough part and hope the next few months go by fast for you. You celebrate like I want to when I get thru all the treatments. Eat lots of cake and drink champagne, only in my case make it margheritas (sp). Raising my glass to you, strong sister.
