Well the colonoscopy went well. he said it was all clear, no polyps, but I have abnormal granular mucosa. Anybody familiar with that one? He did a biopsy on it and we will know soon enough. If anyone has knowledge about it, please share. Thanks

    Yay for no polyps!
I've never heard that term and will be interested in hearing any enlightenment from some who have.

    *hugs*

    DO NOT
Do Not take this as an absolute, and don't cause yourself worry, but it is considered, SOMETIMES, a lead into Crohn's disease. This does NOT mean you have Crohn's disease, just an indication they need to check. Because chances are you simply have IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME, which I had for over 30 years. It has so many variations, only further testing, which they may have done already, and your physician can tell you.
    Thinking of you.

    Well
My bowel has been irritable ever since the resection! Yikes. Used to eat anything and everything with no problems until the obstruction started. But, yes, I was told by the doctors that they look for granular patterns to diagnose the IBS/IBD type of diseases in the intestinal track. Best of luck with your follow ups. I will be hoping you are just fine.
