ROFL!

Time for my annual 'scanfest'....Mammogram and MRI for my breast cancer, MRI (maybe CT...the insurance is balking on the MRI) for my rectal cancer, DEXA scan for my chemo-induced osteoporosis!

But then I'll be 'right as rain'!

Wish me luck!

Hugs, Kathi

    Good Luck!
    Kathi,

I'm sending you prayers and positive vibes for your tests. It will be great to get them over with and move on with your life. They will all go well and you will be on your way.

    "As Right as the Rain..."
I've used that one myself, Kathi:)

Good luck comes out of "Opportunity Wedding Chance."

And that's a powerful matchmakin' combination!

Wishing you the best outcome for all the procedures that you are going to have done. Glad that you can get it all done at once. It makes it so much easier. Keep us posted.

    Only two down today....
Scheduling messed up on the MRI for the breast...they need the results from the mammo...rescheduled to Monday (10 days from now) to give the radiologist time...

The MRI for my abdomen was in HMO approval limbo, so no abdomen stuff today...

The DEXA scan was a bit discouraging...I still have full-on osteoporosis, worse in my hip than my back...but both are more than -2.0. So, the Actonel is a must, and the calcium, and the weight-bearing exercise. They scanned my 'bad' hip,the one that took the brundt of the rads for the rectal cancer...so, I still think that my OTHER hip (that they didn't do) is much better...(truly irritating, my optomism...ROFL!).

My CEA is very low, and my CA19 (? for breast cancer markers) is, too...all is good there.

So, all, it looks like you all are stuck with me for awhile longer...6 years since dx will be the day after Thanksgiving...and, unless the results say different...I AM as 'right as rain'!!!

Thanks for all the great energy today!!! I love you all!!

I am glad to hear your markers are low + that we are "stuck" with you. I hope your osteo can be brought under control. Good luck with the rest of your tests. I hope you pass everything with flying colours!
