Ladies I have a question. I just fininshed having my expanders filled for the last time. Exchange surgery is scheduled for Oct. 29. Do the implants feel more normal? These expanders are hard as rocks and seem to be to close to my underarms. I'm just hoping the implants are better. Thanks for any input.

Janie

    much better!!!!!
I felt like my expanders were pointing east and west! I had my exchange about two weeks ago with silicone inplants.....love 'em. Love 'em so much I decided to finish the job starting in 2 weeks!
Hope you are happy with the end result!

    Janie YES the implants feel
Janie YES the implants feel more normal...they are a little stiff at first but they relax more and more and get softer yet...but they are still nothing like the expanders. Expanders suck...they are hard as a rock and they are spaced so far apart that they are in your pits...to prevent a uniboob while you have your fills...the implants will be placed in a normal position. Dont worry they will look and feel like normal boobs again.

Thanks for the information. I feel like I could be a lineback with these expanders. JoJo you've been in my prayers with all that has happened to you. I can't wait for the end of Oct. How long did it take to recover? I'm hoping to be back at work in about 5 days. I teach so I'm hoping I can do this.

I teach, too. I try to schedule everything around it. I had my exchange on a Thursday and was in the office maybe Monday. I'm in community colleges, so I do have a few good breaks. I'm a good healer and really felt OK even right after the procedure. Pain meds for two days...was driving after that.
    Take care,

    LOL ...linebacker...careful
LOL ...linebacker...careful you could hurt someone with those...hehe!
IT didnt take to long for the simple things ...under a week maybe...but much longer for any thing else. I think it took about 2 weeks for me to be able to drive again? But i think we all vary to some degree on what we can do and when!
I had mine in mid july and im just now able to sleep on my belly again as long as i dont put all my weight on them and i brace myself with my arms which takes off some weight.
Thank you Janie for your prayers...its still really rough but i put on my smilely face and try to be a functional person...it sucks you have to fake your feelings just to get thru the day...but im slowly getting there...its just gonna take awhile! But thank you for thinking of me!
