Thinking of you and hope you're comfortable, eating bonbons and reading
magazines, with Lola curled up next to you.

Are you reader? Would you like some good books?

    Feeling much better this
Feeling much better this week! I am still very tired. I have been reading all the posts and have been responding to a lot of them. And of course all the new tv shows started this week. The swelling in my arm has gone down, so it was determined that it must have been the heat and humidity that was making it swell, i am using a compression sleeve now. Next chemo is on Tuesday, Oct 5. so not much happening now. Thank you so much for thinking about me. Sounds like everyone is doing very well, so I hope it continues that way

Meena, as you gain strength (even a little) try to enjoy
anything and everything. My taste buds reappeared after a week - so food helped with my energy levels. Potatoes with butter and salt, my favorite -- oh well what can I say .. I am Russian and love starchie foods.

Margarita's and Taco's .. sounds good, I think my Onc the old fart, stated that I could have a drink or two between treatments -- mind you, I had TCH for 18 consective weeks .. no breaks .. so the taste of alcohol was lost on me -- when I did get a few mouth sores, I used baking soda and warm salt water ... when that stopped working .. I would get a few lays potatoe chips (here I go with the potatoe fedish), and just suck on them .. while that did hurt .. I SWEAR my mouth sores disappeared very quickly. Call me werid, I know.

I enjoy looking at your beach bunny pictures, so I hope you have the energy to see them over and over again, and hope that they bring a smile to your face.

Hugs and Prayers .. my friend.

Hi Meena! So happy to read that you are feeling better! That puts a smile on my face!

I can't keep up with all of the new TV shows. Ofcourse, hubby and I have our favorites, but, there are still so many. We don't usually watch a lot of tv, but, we wanted to see some of these new ones.

Praying you continue to feel better with each day!

    Meena, you are an inspiration!
God, Meena... words can not even begin to express how I feel about all this! You are such a very special lady! I have not been able to come here and I feel absolutely terrible about it, but not as terrible as I felt when I would sign on and read things that would put me into a deep depression. I've always been very positive and upbeat. Cancer has put a damper on that. All I can say is cancer SUCKS, and talking about it and reading about it, makes me that much more angry!

You're such a strong lady, Meena! God bless you! We've talked about margaritas on the beach... I hope we can make that come true!

    Love, Mar ♥
