My find of the day

One of my favorite things to do, is to go garage saleing on Saturday's. My poor Hubby NEVER knows what I will come home with next! For ex: once I came home with a calf (Yes! Baby cow) in my van! :-)Anyway, today was our neighborhood sale. Got up early, went treasure hunting, but found myself pretty disappointed at this Fall's sale items. But, that was ok because I didn't spend much $$ Well....I came home and just had to walk across the street & see what the neighbor had. As soon as I saw them, I knew I'd be coming home with them! Two beautiful baby white doves! 6 months old, little pink feet, & a slight hue of pink coloring in their feathers! Who could pass them up right?! I am in such awe over them! :-)(The man who lives there is a magician)
So, here's where I need help: Normally I'm pretty good about coming up with our animal names, but due to Chemo Brain, I just can't seem to come up with anything good for the pair. What do you think? Your ideas would be extremely appreciated!
Thanks!
♥ Always,
Cat

    Not Creative!
I'm not the creative type but I'll have a go at naming them. You mentioned pink hues in thir coloring so I'll suggest "Blush" and "Pinkie"!!!

    Oh
These are good ones! Marcia that's hilarious considering who they came from! Love it! He thinks one of them may be a boy by its behavior. Still not sure about the other one yet.

    Man I love garage sales!
Now that the weather is getting a bit cooler, I'm excited because people start to have more of them.

I also like to go to antique stores in tiny towns around here. They have the best finds.

    Hugs,

I named one the pigeons that I fed on a regular basis, Henrietta (she just looked like a Henrietta)
So it would be Henry as her mate of course.

    Fred & Ethel
    Lucy & Desi
    Well that was fun. Thanks!

My mom was an animal lover so it was no surprise that one day we had a dove but found out that they need to be in pairs or they get lonely. So mom went out and got a mate for the one we had. They were named Romeo and Juliet since they are mates for life and found each other with the help of my mom.

One day Romeo died and it wasn't long before Juliet followed. They really do get very attached to each other.

    Enjoy them!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing your memory, even though it had a tragic ending..lol. I had a Romeo & Juliet set of Cockatiels and they died together. I'm leaning more towards names that could be male or female since I don't know what one of them is yet. I'm loving every minute of them! I love listening to them Coo. They also make noises that sounds like laughter & it just makes me smile :-).

It has been hard to decide. My Grandfather use to raise pigeons above his garage when I was little. I loved to watch him feed them. What did you feed Henrietta? Glad you liked the thought provoking challenge. You're Welcome & Thanks for your ideas. What do Dwarf Frogs look like? Love their names. Reminds me of Vinnie Barbarino aka John Travolta, whom is the love of my life & has been since he played Vinnie. I'm going to save this post so when I need to name my next set of animals, it will be easy thanks to all of you!

    And The Winner Is:
MARCIA!!! Congratulations on naming the doves!
    Abra & Cadabra
It's relative to where to they came from, literally! Their previous owner hatched the parents himself from the eggs and into the Magic World, thus creating these beautiful babies, and since I don't know for sure if they are a pair, I needed names for "just incase".
Thank You Marcia & to everyone that gave me great suggestions!
I will post a pic as soon as I can get my daughter to help!
