Whoops, forgot my hair!

I was halfway to an appointment with a pulmanologist when I realized I had forgotten to wear my wig or ball cap. Had to brazen it out, after all it was a doctor's office. Now that I finished my Taxol I have a little curly fuzz on my head. It is coming in white, or maybe grey, but also curly. Before chemo it was brown with a little grey and straight.

Been having trouble breathing when walking and my last CT scan came back looking strange in the lung - aside from the tumors in there. The pulmanologist seemed to think it was an infection of some sort, rather than addtional breast cancer, that was a relief. Thursday I have a broncoscopy under light sedation and not in the hospital. We'll go from there.

This is all such an adventure.

    Please let us know
how you make out at the drs. I have definitely noticed an occasional shortness of breath. Nothing to ignore when you know there could be something amiss. And about the hair/no hair mishap. You did just fine! Sending {{hugs}}.

shortness of breath for me .. came in buckets ... all due
to my dense dose of chemotherapy -- it has taken about 7 months to clear up, but not entirely. Please mention this to your Oncologist .. don't worry about bothering him/her with your symptoms .. its your life and body.

I am still LOL about your hair mishaps .. Going without wigs or headcovers gave me strength in my own right ... It all grows back, not as quickly as we would like!

    shortness of breath...
I had DCIS and had radiation therapy. Any cancer treatment stresses you out. The radiation stress manifested my "regular life stress" with borderline migraine, nausea, and shortness of breath. The shortness of breath got so bad that my rad. onc. ordered a CT scan. She thought maybe they had scarred my lung during radiation because the tumor was so close to my ribs, they had to radiate into my lung.

Fortunately, my lung is fine. Hope everything goes well for you.

Remember...BALD IS BEAUTIFUL even fuzzy curly hair no matter what color :)
