Quick question about Biotene

I'm trying to gear up for my chemo and I've seen a few mentions of Biotene mouthwash & toothpaste as being helpful with that whole chemo taste thing. So I thought I'd go ahead and pick some up, but at the store I wasn't sure I was looking at the right stuff. So, just to clarify, are you gals talking about the stuff that says it's for people with dry mouth? Or is there another version of it that I need to look for?

    Yes Winsome that is the stuff. Your mouth will be very dry after chemo.

    Yes, for dry mouth. I saw my dentist before starting chemo to have a problem tooth fixed. He said that the dry mouth caused by chemo leaves you teeth defenseless against normal dacay causing bacteria. He recomended the biotene and a creme I bought at his office for application at night. I also bought a sonic care toothbrush on his recomendation and will never regret it. All this mouth stuff really helps!! Good luck Jen.

    Yes, I bought
    Biotene mouthwash and toothpaste. I'm trying to get the spray too. I started using it today and it's very refreshing. I start chemo tomorrow.

    Yes, it is the right stuff
    I use the Biotene toothpaste, mouthwash, mouthspray (that I carry in my purse) and Biotene Oral Balance Dry Mouth Moisturizer Gel that I use at night. I found all at my local Walgreens.
