Hello everyone,

My father-in-law was diagnosed last week with what looks like Stage4 EC. The cancer has metastasized to his liver & lungs. He has already undergone one chemo session, and is getting ready for his second on Aug13th.

His oncologist (trained in the US) has a very good reputation, and many vouch for him. But I still would like to get a second opinion, from a cancer center in the US preferably. My only option right now seems to be a "Review of Records by Mail" from Sloan-Kettering for $2000.00 (it's a pretty good option I know)

Is there any other option that I should be aware of?

thanks, and my prayers are with everyone on this forum fighting this disease.

    Thanks!
    Dear Mr.Marshall,

First of all, glad to see that you have managed to keep your cancer at bay for 7+ yrs. Always good to hear about such survival stories.

And secondly, thanks for all the helpful info/links, and taking the time to email Dr.Luketich.

My FIL is being treated by an oncologist called Dr.Ganghadharan at the Lakeshore Hospital, Cochin (in the state of Kerala).
Cochin is a fairly big South Indian city, but for a frame of reference, Chennai would be the closest/biggest city to Cochin, in terms of medical facilities.

I'm still trying to gather all the records necessary for the Sloan-Kettering review. I think I still want to keep that as an option. I'd rather do it now, than regret not doing it later.

    Once again, thank you.
