So for those of you who have seen my posts about my father (59, past stroke, seizures, sleep apnea. stage three (began in top of stomach as was moving up), in one lymph node, and he isn't a candidate for surgery. treated at MD Anderson- six weeks of chemo (docetaxel and 5-fu) plus radiation). We are heading out tomorrow for a week of tests to see how the treatment worked. He did great while we were there, but the chemo made his blood pressure drop extremely low after we got home, and he also ran a very high fever for weeks (infection was ruled out by tests and chest x-rays). He has gotten better the past two weeks, but hasn't had an appetite and has had some stomach pain and trouble swallowing occasionally. This did not occur again until after we had been home some time. We are hoping it is from treatment and not the cancer spreading again...

I know the only chance of survival is pretty much only if you have the surgery... but we are trying to have hope that he can get through this. Please pray for him and our family!
