Central NY - it's in the 90's and humid. We don't often have this heat, or at least not long, but it's a 'heat wave' according to reports.

Dogs have a kiddie pool and are using it often. I'm rural and on a hill, usually a breeze, but it's hot! Cool bath, a/c in bedroom and fans, fans, fans!

How are you all doing?

Has been too hot for me!
West Central MN - has been in the upper 80's here - and humid lately (not as hot as in NY, I know). Did cool off some yesterday, though.

We keep it cooler indoors with some window a/c - we have one older dog with health problems, and the heat is so hard on her. Also have ceiling fans in almost every room - they really help!

Sue, you know it's hot here,
Sue, you know it's hot here, since we're not too far from each other. We had a barbecue here today and ended up eating inside, in the air conditioning, when the temp was 97. Far from the usual Central NY weather.

    We've been blessed
in Southern CA with lower than normal temps so far. Last night I actually had to put on a sweatshirt to watch the fireworks.

I think it's in the mid to upper 70's today. We're enjoying it while it lasts! It will probably be over 100 in October!

    Hot here
It's close to 100 here today, but then, this is Texas, and is to be expected. The humidity is high, and it's just plain uncomfortable. However, we got down to 15 degress this winter, so trust me when I saw, "I'M NOT COMPLAININ'!" Better be careful what you wish for.

Hubby's daughter is coming up from Texas Thursday -
she was looking forward to cooler weather - I sure hope it gets here before she does! Of course, it will probably rain (family wedding).

I know that so many of you have hotter weather, for a longer period of time - but we don't! I'm having hot flashes and hotter flashes!!!

    I'm not complaining either.
I'm not complaining either. Just commenting on how odd the weather has been lately: an earthquake (last week)and 97 degrees is very unusual for us in Upstate NY, and we don't quite know how to react to it. Snow we're accustomed to: we average over 100 inches a year.

Well I am 27 miles south of
Well I am 27 miles south of Miami. It has been in the 90s here as well. We do get a sea breeze being only 10 miles from the ocean, makes it feel a little cooler.
It was only 89 yesterday because it was raining. Does that a lot this time of year.

We are in the 93 - 94 degreee range here in southern
Michigan. High Humidity! We live on the St. Clair River (river runs between Lake Huron and Lake Erie) and we are lucky to have some breeze, but it's like a hot air blast. We came home yesterday from 3 days on the boat (boat has air or I wouldn't be on it) and just came directly into the house with air. I hate this hot. But I know this is temporary and for many of you in the south and west this is normal....I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU DO IT. I'm a wimp I guess.

    Thursday it'supposed to cool off.

But you know what? I'm gonna quit complaining cause this time last year I was going thru dx and was going thru much more misery than a little old heat wave! So I guess I'm happy with whatever...

Just pass the iced tea, Judy :-)

I am in northern Florida and
I am in northern Florida and it is going to be in the mid 90's. It is not only hot here but very humid as well. I live just a half block from the Atlantic Ocean and there is typically a breeze there. So, if it gets too unbearable, we either head to the beach or inside in the air conditioning.

    Cool here
It's been cool here - Black hills area of SD. We went up to Deadwood for Prine Rib and playing some of the Penny Slots/One Armed Bandits on the Fourth. We got there at 12:30 and the time/temp/info sign near the Four Aces said it was 55F. It did get a bit warmer (low 60's) when the sun came out.

yesterday at the house (on the prairie just east of the Hills) it for up to 68 yesterday and down to 42 last night. Tofday is supposed to get to the high 60's again and tomorrow in the low 80's Yippie!

Our winter's are long and hard and this year so far we really haven't had a summer.

    beautiful all year around
Low 70's, foggy in the morning since we're coastal, then the days blossom into bright beautiful sunny afternoons. I've lived in hot hot hot and this is such a welcome change living near the beach.

    105 Degrees
105 degrees today here in Maryland. It's tied for a record for the second hottest day in history. Not really complaining, considering 5 months ago, we were getting ready to have two back to back blizzards of 24 inches of snow each!!! I don't like the cold.

Oh how I hate to tell you, but here at the beach it is in the 70's, cool breeze, and it is one of a few days so far where is the sun is out. I feel for all of you on the East Coast, been there in August and will never do that again. Keep cool.

    HOT!!!!!!!
Driving home from work today my car registered 105. It then sat in the grocery store lot for 10-15 min and it read 114 when I got in! I live 30 miles north of NYC. We're not used to such high heat! Don't think I will do my nightly 3 mile walk!

In the high 90's here and we have bad humidity to go along with it!! You walk outside and immediately get wet from the mugginess. The 4th we cooked out, but ate inside as well. Have a pool, but its out of commission. The whole week is supposed to be misserable. Its going to be a long hot summer. Better than snow though.
