Thanks to everyone for all the useful web-sites that supply gifts & support to cancer patients. Let's share some of the ones that we have found. I can't take credit, for the following sites, however, I did find them here. If you find a new one, make sure you add it to the list. Thanks to everyone. Hugs!

www.chemoangels.net - Assigns "angels" to chemo patients.

www.heavenlyhats.org - Free hats to chemo patients

www.cancer.org - American Cancer Society, some local offices have wig closets where chemo patients can pick a wig and/or hats and scarves

I love all the great websites you've all listed. I have a question. I did the breast cancer walk last May and saw a group of ladies with crocheted (sp) hats that looked like a breast! they looked so great. they were pink with a little brown "nipple" on the top. Anyone seen a pattern for anything like this? I would love to get some going for the walk for next year.

check out several websites. I bought hats from tlc on the bc website and from Hats w/ Heart. My daughter got me a couple of hats from Heavenly Hats too. I also got a beautiful tote from The Lydia Project that Heatherbelle talked about. Thanks so much for all of you telling us about these websites.

http://www.titillatingturbans.com/

I bought one of these turbans and sent a picture of me modeling one (along with some other hats and scarves) to my daughter in law. Turns out the knows the woman who designed them. Small world. My DIL gifted me 2 more turbans, so now I have 3. They are absolutely beautiful. What I like about them is how versatile they are and how they've got some fullness around the top, not flat like so many scarves. Take a look at them and enjoy.
