DID ANYBODY ELSE HAVE AN INOPERABLE THYROID TUMOR?

I WAS IN THYROID AND THORAIC SURGERY FOR MORE THAN FIVE HOURS BUT THEY COULD NOT REMOVE MY TUMOR. IT WAS TOO CLOSE TO THE AORTA AND WINDPIPE.
NOW I AM GOING TO GET IODINE TREATMENT AND THEY HOPE TO SHRINK IT MAYBE FIFTY PERCENT. ALSO I AM TAKING SUTENT. I AM ON AN IODINE FREE DIET TO GET READY FOR TREATMENT.
I AM GRATEFUL TO BE ALIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY. I HAVE TWO TEENS. BUT I WISH I HAD THE THYROID OUT WHEN IT WAS SMALL--I WAS CONSIDERED HIGH RISK BECAUSE I HAD A MUSCLE DISEASE.
IS THERE ANYBODY ELSE WHO COULD NOT GET THEIR THYROID REMOVED? THANKS AND GOOD LUCK
