Joe here: the doctor removed the nose tube, a big relief. Today the colon doc said she could have nourishment. She ate some egg, grits (a corn cereal), and drank some coffee. Oh, first she had an orange popsicle -- said it was wonderful. Haven't seen her primary oncologist yet. We were told Friday that nourishment would feed her tumor first. Still waiting on clarification of her options.

Thanks for words of encouagdment and prayers. - Joe

    Yes!!!
Getting the NG tube out is next to nothing as far as feeling freedom!!! If she is eating grits and eggs, things must be really good.
Take care Joe, and send my love to your beautiful wife!
    Blessings,

    encouraging
Dear Joe, thanks for the continued updates. Your words are so encouraging to others who may find theirself in this spot. I sure know the celebration when the nose tube comes out...I always called it my elephant snout.... then when my legs swelled up I said I had everything but the ears LOL...

Praying all the food has made it through the system okay and Saundra continues to get better, also prayers the combination works hard against the cancer and not on her. It is a tough combo for most people.

Praying also for Saundra to feel wonderful and have a great time at the family gathering.

Lots of prayer ♥ hugs ♥ love Bonnie
