I have 2 AC rounds/followed by Neualsta shots the next day down and 2 more to go.
I will then have 12 rounds of Taxol weekly/
What can I expect with the Taxol weekly as for as how I will feel, how are the symptoms others have had with the Taxol? Will I continue to get the Neulasta shot? I work full time and have 2 kids ages 9 and 10, I take a sick day on Fridays after chemo and work from home on Mondays and Tuesdays following AC and have been able to go back on Wednesdays after and work at least 5 or 6 hours a day in the office in between and nap at home before dinner and then back to bed I go.
Any advice would be great.

    I am currently doing 12
I am currently doing 12 rounds of taxol after 4 rounds of AC. I have done 3 so far and for me it has been much easier. I do not get the neulasta shot after which is great! I hope you find taxol to be easier as well. Good luck
    Take care

I had a different cocktail myself but a friend of mine had the same protocol as you are. She said that the Taxol was much easier than the AC, she felt better on it and was able to do more. She even did the Komen towards the end of her Taxol treatment and was able to work full time....I know everyone is different but I hope yours goes as easy as hers did!

I too did 4 rounds of AC, the shot the day after and I am on my 10th round of weekly Taxol treatment with 2 more to go. AC knocked me on my butt! Taxol has been much easier. What I have noticed is as each weekly treatment goes by I am getting some side effects now. My feet are tingly, I am very emotional the day after treatment, I am now very tired, and my knees and hips hurt really badly. This week my hands have started to ache which is at times very painful. With all of this it is still easier than AC! At least I am not sick to my stomach. I also am having terrible heartburn. I am taking medication for all the side effects and I can manage. Thank goodness I only have 2 more to go. I only have to work a day or two a week and on those days I sleep when I get home get up for dinner and then back to bed. Otherwise on the days I don't work, I do things around the house, take care of the kids, grocery shop, etc, but I do lay down in the afternoon. Sometimes I sleep sometimes it is just nice to rest. I listen to my body and let the family know when I am out of energy. Everyone has been very understanding!

I had a yucky time with chemo, I had the big d and it continued with taxol, but taxol was much better. I do have peripheral neuropathy. If you are starting this let your docs know. Mine is slowly getting better but still pretty extensive. I thought when I was stumbling it was weakness, because I was sick, and lost a ton of weight. (I also was in bed alot as I developed a rectal fissure) and that position was better for the pain. ANYWAYS it could have been that or a symptom of the PN so keep an eye on it and let your docs know. (P.S. the fissure was not from the taxol)
