I'm not doing Weight Watchers but I am losing weight! I walk about 3 miles a day and eat yogurt and granola for breakfast, something like cottage cheese and fresh veggies or pineapple for lunch and then a reasonable dinner.

I also do leg lifts and crunches every day.

So far I have lost 23 lbs since January. I've gone from a size 18 jeans to a 12 and I'm loving it. ;-)

Congratulations. That's a great weight loss. I have not joined WW but have started eating better, drinking green tea and riding my stationary bicycle every day. I noticed I am sleeping better since starting the exercise.

    Exercise is a Great Key
Exercise is a great key to feeling better. I also started drinking green tea. I have drunk black tea since I was a child. My taste buds are changing and the green tea is appealing to them, especially since I don't add anything to the tea. (I'm used to sugar with black tea.)

Keep up the exercising. Very important for our body.

    Only .2lbs last week.
I was a little disappointed with such a little bit of loss. I worked out every day on my eliptical for 45 mins. and tracked my points. I've lost 7 lbs in 5 weeks so maybe my body is just adjusting.

    Roseann,
    I have been known

    Roseann,
I have been known to be totally legal, walk 5 days, 1 hour per day, and gain weight. But...don't do anything wrong the following week, because the weight then will come off. Sometimes the body adjusts. Sometimes we are plugged up that day and need to go the bathroom. Sometimes we are retaining more water. Whatever is going on with the body, continue to exercise and diet. In the long run, the weight loss continues to grow.

7 lbs. in 5 weeks is not bad. That is 7 lbs. you would not have lost if you had not worked out and tracked your points. Have your lecturer review your points. Maybe something is wrong there.

I know that I have to eat fish - not chicken - not beef. I allow myself 1 beef - never on the weekend because I weigh in on Monday. I may do chicken on Saturday. I try to do fish on Sunday and all the other days.

    Good luck, Roseann.

This is a great weight loss
This is a great weight loss and like the Tortoise and the Hare, Slow and steady wins the race. They say that a consistent moderate weight loss each week is the best way to lose.
    Good for you.

Glad I stuck with it another week.
    Hi All,

I had my weigh-in yesterday and dropped 1.6 lbs. I'm down 8 lbs since my oncologist appt. 5 weeks ago. I still have over 20 lbs. to lose but it is easier now that I'm writing everything down and controlling my portions. Thanks for the support.
