Thank you all for the birthday wishes. It is really comforting to be surrounded by women and men that truly care about you. It not only makes you feel warm inside, but you feel you can handle anything that comes your way.

I had a great birthday. I did have to do some chores like get the cat his shots and take my vehicle in for repairs but in the evening, Mom made enchiladas for us all. Oh they were sooooo good. I ate way too many as usual and was quite miserable. But that was ok because my brother hooked up the Wii ( I know, how old am I) and we played with the Wii Fit. You know, where this little cartoon keeps looking back at you because you can't keep up with him as you race him in the park. He's like, "Come on you Fat Ash. Go faster." Little did he know I was full of enchiladas. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. I get so tickled with those games and these days, I am all about laughter.

Thank you all.

Oh, Fauxma, did your Hubby have a good day? Hope so.

Lovey! I could picture your day perfectly, and of course you should have eaten too many enchiladas on your Special Day~ there is something to be said about post cancer birthdays being the the "Whole Enchilada", isn't there? LOL

My sister and her hubby have a Wii and like the exercises as well~ I have no doubt that you will soon have a Gluteous Minimus!

So glad you had a wonderful day! You deserved it!

    Hugs,

My daughter uses the Wii Fit
My daughter uses the Wii Fit and some of the other stuff. It looks like a fun way to exercise. I have seen her and JJ working out and the interaction is great. They also have another fitness one and the family music one. I agree these games are so much fun. I personally love to do hidden object games and the Big City adventure games too. Eating too much is totally allowed on our birthdays. Glad you had a good day. It is so good to be with family and to just celebrate life. For me, birthday's are God's way to say he is renewing my registration. I am be a bit of a clunker but I still run.
We went down early in the morning to see the kids and looked at an apartment. We put in our application and hoping we get it. Very cute, just the right size and across the street from the kids. They actually found it for us. As we were waiting to go look at it, JJ was in his window waving to Den, Denise, and me. We all waved back. When we came back JJ ran up to us and told us that we had to live there so he could wave to us every day. And his papa said we had to live there so when they needed a sitter they could just put a red flag in the window. Mama said we had to live there so she can do our laundry and we can go shopping and hang out. We want to live there because it is close and ground floor and very charming. We shall see but if this doesn't work out there are others to look at. Then we went to brunch (delicious) and back to the house for cake. JJ slipped and told me there were trees and a mountain on the cake but then said that it was okay if I knew but that we couldn't tell Grandpa. Denise had done Half Dome in Yosemite on the cake (our favorite place in the world). It was so beautiful and yummy too. The funny thing is that Den was wearing his Yosemite (Half Dome) tee shirt and JJ kept saying to him, you really, really like that mountain. Surprised he didn't let it slip to Grandpa. We came home in the afternoon and then drove up to Sacramento to a birthday party for my best friends granddaughter. So it was a busy but wonderful day. And I am hoping that our birthday present will be getting that apartment.
I do tend to ramble but it's fun to share.

    I Hope You Get It
I think that is so awesome. It sounds like that would be great for everyone. It is even greater that everyone agrees and wants to be close. I hope you get the apartment.

I like that, God renewing my registration. Oh and Yosemite is truly a magnificent park. I am glad you all had such a great time.
