Please add my dear Aunt to your prayer list. She lost her husband last night and is really having a rough time. He was diagnosed with mesotheleoma (lung cancer caused by exposure to asbestos) about three years ago, and about two months ago really started having problems. Your prayers would be appreciated. We are connected not just by cancer, in any of its ugly manifestations, but more importantly by the heart. We feel the losses experienced by the family members of all of our Kindred Spirits here on the boards... so of course I am wishing your Aunt and all of her family peace in this saddest of times.

Your aunt is in my prayers and thoughts...I lost my husband to colon cancer 9/25/09 and I know what a difficult time it is for your aunt right now. There are no words to express her feeling of loss..I am glad to know she has someone like you to just be there for her. May God bless her with the faith and strength for the days ahead. Keeping you and your aunt in my prayers.

Thank you all for hearing my request. My Aunt is the same age as I am, and we are more like sisters. On top of this, this is the second husband she has buried. The next few days will be rough, but we will all get through this, and be stronger for it. I will be off of the boards for a few days, so will check on everyone when I get back. Hugs to all,
