Well, yes I finally made it! Rang that bell in the lobby so loud I think the whole Mayo Clinic heard it!! hahahaha...
I am super sore tho! My Dr. said that it will be at it's worst 1-2 weeks from now, great!
I am using the vinegar soak, the silvadene, and the xeroform, gauze and ace bandage..whew!
It takes alot of my time, supposed to do it 4 times daily. My chest actually started bleeding last night and this morning..ick!
But I know that I am on the road to recovery and there is that light at the end of the tunnel..I see it! It can be done and I am so thankful for all the treatment that I have received.

So glad to hear you're at the finish line. In a few weeks you should be healed up and getting your strength back. What a journey you've had but you're there and we're celebrating with you. Now just rest and recuperate, then do something very special. Love you and sending you hugs!

    YAY!!!!
Tracy, I feel like we've been holding hands along this journey, but you are fortunate enough to cross that line just before me. I can't tell you how happy I am for you and that this is FINALLY a 'thing of the past'! Gosh, remember when this all first started how scary it was and how we couldn't imagine going through everything? How much all these wonderful women & men on here helped us get through every little scary thing? Well now you are one of THEM! You're done and now you can tell others how they can do it too! Stand proud & tall, lady... you deserve it!

    Love, Mar

I am so happy for you! I finished #33 on 3/5, and am almost all healed. Healing process takes hold once rads are done, I find each day I'm a little 'cooler' - once the heat started to diminish, healing sped up.

    Thanks everyone!
I certainly do not feel like a pro at this or anything like that..still many questions. My skin hurts terribly still (especially in the lymphedema area under my arm) I cannot wait to
    get screened again for cancer..

I was going to ask also, is this the day that you can say that you are cancer-free? After that final checkup? I have no idea when that will be but I am sure it will be a scary day. Scary because, they had to remove 24 of my lymph nodes and who knows where the cancer ended up..but not to think about that right now - nope! I suppose you always have it in the back of your mind of course, that is normal I guess.

And when is your anniversary date? The day they check you and you are cancer free? Just a few questions for the pros..haha
