Devasted and Disappointed Tonight

I got thru my stress test ok today but got a call tonight from my cardiologist's office and was told I failed and will have to have a heart cath next Tuesday. Will be going tomorrow for blood workup to see if my kidneys are functioning fully. If stents have to be put in I'll have to go on plavix which means I can't have surgery for awhile yet. Because I have diabetes it might cause some more complications. I was so exhausted physically and emotionally tonight I could hardly do anything. I had my heart set on having the masectomy next week, getting radiation over with and getting my life back, like all of us want. Seems like the beast will still rule me for awhile. Had a meltdown tonight. It seems like it just goes on and on. I know I'll pull myself together in a few days but I sure am disappointed, frustrated and worn out right now. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I know you're all going thru similar problems and hope we can all keep going forward to the finish line.

    So Sorry !
I'm so sorry to read of your disappointing, discouraging day. I can't even imagine what you are going through. But I do know God is in control, and He'll stay with you all the way. I still have my melt-down days too.. I'm 3/4 through my chemo now, but 2 weeks later, after my last treatment, I will begin radiation for a few weeks. It's a rough road, but we'll make it! I will continue to pray for you daily. God bless you.

    So sorry, Sunrae
It must be utterly devastating to have to deal with so many health complications all at once. No wonder you had a meltdown - as we all do, at some point or another.

Maybe try to focus on one step at a time. Otherwise, it could be just too darned overwhelming.

With hopeful thoughts and prayers your way, and...

    Kind regards, Susan

    Sunrae,
I am so sorry for all you are going through. It is hard to see, but it is a blessing to have found out your heart issues before your breast surgery. I am sure it does not feel that way at the moment, but God does have a plan-even though I have my moments when I wonder if He is napping.
One day at a time is what everyone is telling me -for me it is sometimes one "hour" at a time...so try that for a while.
I pray you will find peace and comfort as you move toward your finish line. I am keeping you in my prayers and thoughts.

I'm so sorry your surgery is being delayed, Sunrae. I was so hopeful everything would turn out fine. But on a positive note, Dash is right... it's a real good thing you didn't go into surgery not ready. It's fortunate that your surgeon is thorough. I always try to find the positive in everything to help me get past it. Take this time to rest and get healthy so you can conquer the rest of this journey with all that you have!

    Hugs, Mar

    Sunrae, I'm sorry you have
Sunrae, I'm sorry you have another health issue to deal with. As it was said before take one step at a time, get through it then move on to the next. I did this throughout my treatment and it helped.

    Sunrae, it sounds like you
Sunrae, it sounds like you have a lot on your plate....it's hard enough for us girls to deal with cancer let alone heart and diabetes. Be patient, put you trust in you doctors and you will have that mastectomy when your suppose to have it. God is watching over you and there is a reason for everything. I pray you get through this so you can move on to your next step, many hugs sweety!!

Oh My Dear Sunrae so sorry
Oh My Dear Sunrae so sorry about these health setbacks, but happy your doctors were on top of it. With every step we take, we are moving toward that finish line.

Sometimes I have to remind myself of those words from the Good Book, "my days were counted before I ever had one"; "He knitted me in my mother's womb and knows me". I also remind myself that with each obstacle He always gives a door of escape. He will not give us more than we can handle, and when we feel we can no longer walk, if we lean on Him, He will carry us.

I'm praying for you sweet lady. You are entitled to have a meltdown, and I know you'll pull it all together again.

Sunrae, I am sorry to read
Sunrae, I am sorry to read your disappointing news. On the other hand, you want to succeed in killing this beast within you, so you need to make certain you are at top performance when you do. Just consider it a delay and your chance to strengthen your body to conquer. You'll get to your goal, it is just going to take a little more time. Rest up and get ready!!!

    Sweetie, if you have not
Sweetie, if you have not seen the 3 minute online empowering movie called The Survivor Movie, please do so! It used to have its own site, but now you have to find it through YouTube. So, on You Tube, go to The Cancer Crusade, and from there to The Survivor Movie.

It is not preachy, but in 3 minutes gives strength and encouragement; something we all can use, and today, it has your name written all over it!

    Hugs,
    Chen♥

    I know you are disappointed
I know you are disappointed but it's better to go into surgery when you are ready. Do something that you enjoy to cheer you up. Try to smile and laugh and somehow the act makes you feel better. Hugs.

    Oh Sunrae
I'm so sorry for this setback. It's not fair and you're right, two steps forward and then it seems to pull us back. I am praying you receive the strength you need to deal with this new problem. But as Natly said, thank heaven they found this out now.

    Hugs, Judy

    Dearest Sunrae
I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to feel like you'e seeing the finish line move further away instead of closer. As others have said, it is actually a good thing that your doctors are being careful so that when you surgery date does arrive (and it WILL), you will be in the best shape you can be to recover fully.

My prayers are with you every day

    Peace and Love,
