I will keep your Mom in my prayers and also you. May she feel all the positive energy from all of us who are walking the journey too! I also have my first follow up appointment on Friday morning and will get the results of a CT scan I had today.

Thank you so much for asking, having people thinking about us - even if we never met, is always helpful.
We just came back. She had physical exam, colposcopy and everything was found OK. She had blood work - Ca 125, and we will have the results later tonight or tomorrow morning. The waiting is the most difficult part. I can't imagine what will happen if the Ca 125 is elevated. We are originally from Greece, I am a rheumatologist working in Florida and my parents are here with me to help with my daughter. My brother is also here in USA. If she has recurrence they have to go back to Greece as she does not have insurance here (I am still under visa status here, and my parents are just tourists). I just hope everything will be OK, and in the next couple of years I will move back to Greece to always be with my parents.
Please please pray with me the Ca 125 will still be normal.... This disease is a nightmare and becomes even more difficult when you are away from your family.
Take care your self and your mom, give her many hugs, enjoy the time you are spending with her. Our journey started 20 months ago, we are blessed we are still together...

Sooooo!!!!!!
Yes!
It has been a long tough day. I found out the results 2 hours ago - midnight. (I was out for dinner with friends, since I could not stay calm at home, and I did not want my mom to feel my nervousness).
I guess I am very lucky I have access to the laboratory and I know the results right away. I could not wait to hear from her doctor.
We just bought 3 more months.... or maybe a real cure... who knows. We have nothing but hope.
The recent recurrence on people who I respect and admire in this site, made me believe that our turn was coming.
My English is so bad, and can not express my feelings. I can not thank you enough - all of you just for being here and praying for us. I am praying also for all of you. I hope you all dance with NED, and those that have had a recurrence to be in a long remission this time.
Please take care of yourselves.
