Try to copy the above link and paste it in your browser. It should take you directly to the article. Durble clicking it from the post doesn't work for some reason. But cut and paste should.

Liz,

I read the article. I've read similar articles and the stats are basically the same as older articles. But this was written more recent. Its very cool that your doctor wrote this, I know that makes you feel confident with your treatment. I wish you well. Lori

Thanks Lori. I do feel blessed to have the doctors I had. I know there are no guarantees with any of this. I continue to pray for all and I try to stay focused on the positive aspects of this type of cancer. People tell me I'm very optimistic. The reason for that is because I have hope. I met so many other people with different cancers and I don't know what I would do if I were in their shoes. My treatments weren't easy, as you know. But when I put it in perspective compared to the amount of treatment so many others have gone through, I consider myself blessed.

Liz,

I also consider myself blessed. I have read post and have seen patients while I was being treated with a much harder treatment plan. They gave me strength to get through my treatment. I saw young 18 year old up to about 80, undergoing chemo. I thought if they can do this I can too. I have lots of hope also, this cancer has certainly given me a new perspective on life. I wish you well.

Hi, everyone,
I am so glad to see that the message is getting out--it is absolutely critical to find the right oncologist and right cancer treatment facility. Unfortunately, we put all of our trust with an oncologist at a highly accredited teaching hospital near our home, and my husband's life was cut short by that. You must be empowered, involved and alert before, during and after your treatment.

Take care, Joni
