Done with Rads today!!

Hi All. I finished with the rads today. I had 35 total with the last 7 as boosters. My skin is red but not blistered. I'm still on Herceptin every 3 weeks until Oct. I meet with my oncol. next Wed. to have the "Tamoxefin talk". I also see my gyn. on next Thurs. to get her opinion on it. On to the next step!

    Yeaaaa, congrats! I finished too, but came out with battle blisters, and silvadene, Sooo happy ur not cooked. You may feel weird not going everyday.It will pass. Have fun and good luck with "tamoxifin talk". Sighhh. xoxo Gayla

    I had the same amount as you. When it was all done, the nurses gave a me a little god apple pin. I am glad this is out of the way for you. This is something to celebrate! Hugs, Cindy

    Way to go, Sher. Finishing up on rads is a real milestone, and one that should be celebrated. I think the fact that you have to make the trip five days a week is what really wears you down, as well as the treatment itself. Nice to have that behind you. Congratulations! Hugs, Judy
