Jeanne, I have PM'ed you my Facebook name so you can look me up when you complete your registration. Tasha, if you have joined, and want a partner in some of these games, just let me know, and hopefully I will be smart enough to be able to "hook up" as the kids say. My children come to see us and spend time teaching me how to get around in Facebook. So far I have made contact with several of my high school and college classmates from all over the country. Renewing these friendships has been fun, and keeps me out of trouble. Also, I can keep up with family with "chat", and am always getting a quick "hello" out of grandkids and kids. It is really fun. Just to chime in here and not wanting to feel like I wasted my time on FB....I actually got the word out using haybales for BC!! If you look at an arial view of my farm in Farmville it says in pink & white "SAVE THE TATA'S" !!!
Also, if you visit my Cafe (where the only cooking I do involves a click of my mouse, teehee) I have made a statue with boobies a focal point on the floor!!
I'm just glad FB is understanding the importance of my mission!
So, let the games begin....it doesn't hurt when your boss keeps asking you to be a neighbor in all the games! I can get away with it at work (of course as long as my duties are done!)

If you are the cake baker then I say go weekly. Daily would be too piggy, wouldn't it? Maybe not. Daily birthdays. After all, someone, somewhere is having a birthday. Hi, you can just put the month and day, you don't have to give your year. They will remind your friends a few days in advance of your upcoming birthday.

What is farkle?

Click on CSN home at the top left of the page and then look in the middle of the page. In the middle, it says Connect and Communicate. Then it says CSN email. From there just click on one of them and you can send someone a private message. If you need more help, just ask me.

You can change that by clicking on settings on the top right of your screen, after you've signed on, and then just click change under your name. I did the same thing, so I learned from experience.

I have to confess, I am loving FB. I am still pretty much lost on Farmville, but, thanks to my friends on there, I am starting to understand it much better. Fertilizing my crops, giving me animals, gifting me trees...it is fun! I also love the hearts! Every time I get one, my heart smiles! Thanks to all that have added me and I hope to see more of you on there as my friends!

Jeanne, take a look at your neighbors, like Cindy, Susan, and Jackie. Some of them have two or three houses with hundreds of thousands coins left in their bank! It doesn't seem like you could ever get there at the beginning. I remember how great it felt when I bought my first cottage!

I've always been the 'Amish' farmer with no electricity, tractors or plows, only the simple life. Horses have been my big thing, and I was sorry I didn't have enough money to buy a Clydesdale.

I actually feel much as you do. Although I do like Facebook as a means to keep up with some old friends that I otherwise wouldn't really call or visit. I don't post a lot of status updates and I never play the games. There are just too many! I really do need to clean up my page now that I am friends with a few sisters from this site though. I'm going to try to be better about getting on there. One thing that bothers me is all the clutter on the site! I like things neat and orderly.

BTW, there was a huge discussion about the "what color bra are you wearing" thing on the YSC discussion group. Some people did not like it at all. I'm so out of it I didn't even realize what was going on until someone posted about it.

Yesterday on Dr. Phil I saw a woman who was so involved with Facebook (Farmville) that she didn't even take time to feed her children. She was so nervous about being away from home and neglecting her farm, that she was literally shaking. Hope none of us get that involved, but it is fun. GEEZ, That's addiction. I will say with CafeWorld or whatever it's called, I time my food I want to sell,LOL Like the night before, I make things that take 12 hours or more, so I can serve them when i check in online the next morning,LOL! I do like Farmville the best though, but I certainly feed my family, and make desserts,etc.

That woman, I am sure Dr. Phil said, has some bad mental problems, which is very sad. Playing games online or chatting online or even a wonderful support group like this has some that have problems above and beyond just enjoying or using the site as probably 99% do. Hopefully she will get help. In the meantime, enjoy facebook, myspace, poker online or even this site.
