Hi There...
I just joined last week and still have no idea what I am doing or how to join, invite a friend send messages or play a game........... I would love to have at least one GO at Aortus in the scrabble type thing...........No luck yet............ Keep me posted if you get in there please send a tutorial............. Hugz Jzz0 -

Jeanne, I have PM'ed you my Facebook name so you can look me up when you complete your registration. Tasha, if you have joined, and want a partner in some of these games, just let me know, and hopefully I will be smart enough to be able to "hook up" as the kids say. My children come to see us and spend time teaching me how to get around in Facebook. So far I have made contact with several of my high school and college classmates from all over the country. Renewing these friendships has been fun, and keeps me out of trouble. Also, I can keep up with family with "chat", and am always getting a quick "hello" out of grandkids and kids. It is really fun. PM me if you want to make contact, and I will pass along my Facebook name as well. P.S. Getting Aortus to meet you in a game of scrabble would be a hoot...go get him. Hugs. Judy
PPS. Tasha, in your latest picture you look just like my best friend in her younger years. That is scary! She looks enough like Barbara Mandrell to be her twin.0 -

Although since work blocked facebook, I only do it on my iphone so not very often. But maybe I'll just get back into it. I have a lot of silly pictures that I need to get rid of. I have a lot of people from highschool and earlier friending me, and I don't want them to think I'm a loon. Anyway, once you're in someone's network so you can ask to friend their friends. So if I'm friends with Jeanne and Tash and Judy are also her friends, I can request to be Tash and Judy's friends, too. I'm making my own head spin now.

But the biggest reason I don't join is they want your birthdate and I feel that is an invasion of privacy and I won't make one up. I know why they want it but they could just use the year of birth. Or better yet just have you agree to being over a certain age. That would be the same thing.

You have various options in determining just who can or can not see your information. The strongest security consists of allowing only your friends to see any of your information. He could send you a friend request, I suppose, but you could also tell him where to put it.0 -
