Officially Joined the RAD B's
I kind of upset the Rad Techs when I missed a few sessions. They complained to the Doc and he sat me down and talked to me (like I was a truant child). But, when I explained that my job takes me out of town, he opened up the office on a weekend to help me get caught up on my treatments. He is really understanding and truly a caring Doc. Take that you B--chy Rad Techs. Some people make things so difficult.
Anyway, I hope that everyone is doing the best that they can with all that they have to deal with and I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas.

Now down to bussines, as a member of the Rad B we need to know if you are a back up singer, back up dancer or do you have an instrument in mind. Oh yea what is your stage name?

I think my stage name will be Taz. My mom calls me Taz when I get mad because of my eyebrows (when I had them) looked like the Tazmanian Devil on Bugs Bunny. I think I would like to play the conga drums. Can you see me? Babalooooo!!! Babalooooo!!! Ricky Recardo ain't got nothing on me.

Aortus here - the promotions manager and jack of all trades. Our esteemed Manager is on vacation. Something about hosting an enormous Christmas/birthday bash for her friends and relatives in Chicago, I think. All I know for sure is that as usual, the dude gets stuck with all the work. Sometimes I think this entire bulletin board is a great big matriarchy.

Mammo Mia checking in. I have been working on the costumes and writing songs like crazy and wondered why no one was coming in for their fittings. I figured the band was out partying since July and would eventually run out of money and come back to start our tour. Then I realized that we had never been paid so where is all their money coming from. So check in members and anyone new that wants to join just tell Aortus (temporary secretary and everything else) your name and what you wish to do. You can sing, dance, play an instrument, be a roadie, lighting, security. We need it all.
Was this explained to the newbies anywhere? Capsule version. In July, Moopy's doctor said her mohawk (as her hair was falling out) made her look like a punk rocker and the RAD B'S evolved from there with a great deal of hilarity I might add. We all picked names, jobs, and entered our own little world of music. We talked of costumes, wrote music and generally had a great time with our cyberband. Moopy's doctor was even an honorary member (since he started it).
It is just one of many diversions that take us away from the beast.

Well, of course, dear lead singer yours are all done and blinged to perfection but the others have been so bad about telling me just what they wanted and fittings etc so I got way behind and then there was a strike at the bling store and my fabric supplier said that our business manager had not paid the last bill. I turned that letter in to our secretary but I am not sure that our manager received it or responded to it. And then I had song writer's block and I am seeing a therapist to work through those issues and I heard that some of the sets aren't done yet. So keep your pipes warmed up cause we could start performing any millennium now. LOL

The RadB's are always looking for more Daft Sods to join the group... chemo or no chemo. So you're both in.
The next performance will be a free concert in Chicago on the afternoon of December 25th. I think it's a combination Christmas and birthday party. I am told there will be lots of good food and good cheer all around!0 -
Retail shopping can be an aging experience for our spouses. And my grandfather when asked where his hair had gone told me that he could do majic and he made the hair on his head disappear and then reappear on his chin and lower lip. He said this is very difficult trick and only men can do it. SO, does that mean you know the trick also. Magic, I just love magic. Can I join??
I'd love to join too. I just had my 19th out of 35 rad treatment after 4 round of A/C with 1 round of Taxol. I still have 14 more Herceptin to go...will be done with that in Oct. 2010.
I can't really sing that well so I should be a roadie. I love to travel so that should be fun.
