To us

As I read thru messages, it seems a lot of us are struggling to handle the Christmas events, family, and our battle. So tonight as the stars come out, I'm going to grab a glass of wine (luckily my onc says yes to wine), some cheese and crackers, look at the infinite night sky and toast us for magnificent warriors are we all. We do an extraordinary balancing act each day as we reevaluate what must be done. In the midst of our struggle we still find the strength to express ourselves here and provide comfort to each other.

Feel free to join me.

May we all find what we need, be filled with peace, and amazed by the love, beauty and joy surrounding us all. To us!!!

Angela

Under the same moon and stars!!!!
Yes, a toast! I'll be under the same moon (small crescent that it is right now) and stars as you, making a toast to us for getting this far, and sending a powerful wish out to that universe above us that we will all make it to the light at the end of the tunnel soon and in wonderful, joyful health! I hope you feel my warmth and love and hope as you step out there tonight, holding whatever you wish to make the toast with me!

    Here we go
Sorry about all of you in the storm. Hope you all are warm and cozy and have your power. Just to set the stage for you... It's 35 in Atlanta now with an expected low in the upper 20's. I've posted a couple of pictures on my expressions page of the night here.

So with a glass of cabernet, some sharp cheddar, golden delicious apple slices, and wheat crackers, I think of all who are a part of this wonderful community. What strength, love, and wisdom is shown here everyday over and over again. When one of us slows, the others hurry to care for us. When fear overtakes us, a busload is there to comfort us. Whether sharing good news or bad, or "I don't know what this means" news, there's always someone who understands the emotions that go with the news. What a magnificent group of people we are and a wonderful gift to each other.

So fellow warriors, I salute you and thank you for being a part of my life. I am visualizing a gorgeous ballroom all decorated for us as we each take our turn dancing with NED. Ohh what a night!

    Better late than never!

Unfortunately for me, both beer and wine taste awful to me right now, but I will join in the spirit of a toast with some Ginger Ale tonight and celebrate for real when my taste buds come back!
