Casey Update

Well, as most of you know, we have been having so many problems with my great-grandson, Casey, and we spent this past weekend visiting with my granddaughter and her family for Christmas. Little Casey was so alert, and happy. This morning Brittany called, and Casey stopped breating during the night last night, and was rushed once again to the hospital. She told us that the EMT's worked on him for about half an hour, they finally got him stable, but they did have to use a tube to keep him breathing. About 5:00 AM he was transported to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, and they have told them that little Casey is basically brain dead. They will run more tests, but have given her no hope that he will live. Please put Casey and his family in your prayers....they are such a young family, and this is going to be such a hard time for all of us. I will let you know when he passes.     My heart just broke at reading this. Saying I am so sorry just isn't enough for the feelings I have right now. Poor little Casey... He has been fighting so hard for his young age. My heart goes out to you and his family. You most certainly have all of the prayers that I have in me. I am just so sorry Judy. I don't know what else to say.....I just have no words right now

    Judy, I also am crying at reading this sad news. I remember your asking for prayers before for Casey, and, I had hoped that he was better now. I am so very sorry.

    Oh Judy, I was just wondering a few day's ago how little Casey was doing this is so very sad there are no adequate words to put here. I must say I am shocked and in tears, little ones are so precious! My heart aches for all of you and little Casey. I am glad you all were able to have this past weekend with little Casey as I am sure it was a weekend filled with love. I most certainly will be praying for all of you. Again Judy I am so sorry.

    I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I just went to your Expression page and was looking at his beautiful little face and prayed for him to have a peaceful passing. I am so sorry this has to happen.

    I just got off the phone with the Father at our church. Casey is on the prayer list and the Father said a special prayer just for him. I wish I could do more for you Judy.

    I was not expecting this to be the update. I am so, so sorry. It has been a tough road for them and to have this happen and at a time when they should be celebrating is so beyond sad. I cannot know how you feel yet my heart goes out to you and to Casey's parents. We will be here for you. I will keep them and you in my prayers.

    Judy ... I am so sorry about Casey. My heart breaks for his parents ... and you ... and anyone who has gotten to know him during his short little life. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. God just needed another angel to help watch over everyone ... so Casey will be be with you always.
