Our Pammy, aka AKiss4Me, needs our well-wishes~ I know I can count on all of us, right?!

This is a private message I received from our Pammy (aka A Kiss4me) As you will see, she gave me permission to share the latest with all of the sisters here on the board. She needs our prayers, well-wishes, and the encouragement only we can give! I was going to paraphrase and try and re-tell her medical "situation", but then I thought, no~ she eloquently wrote what is happening, so why not just let our sweet Pammy speak for herself? She is without a doubt, one of our Special Sisters here on the boards, always funny and empathetic and quick of wit and encouragement. I know I can count on all of us to keep her close at heart and pray for a good resolution ... Thank you Kindred Spirits!

ugghhh....if you can believe this, I just spent a half hour posting what was going on and my cat stepped on my keyboard and just as I was signing off...poof, wiped out!!!!!
So now, instead of the interesting story I wrote (don't have the energy to re-write) I will tell you the short version (and it's ok to share if you like).
You recall my BC was found "accidently" when they were trying to address the pain in my arm. Well, a suspicious area on my thyroid was "accidently" found from the cervical CAT scan my neurosergeon recently order. They are going to do nerve blocks for my arm, so we can address this more pressing issue, once again. I am so upset. was not expecting another curve ball to be thrown at me. I was just starting to feel better this past week with great progress.
So now I am waiting for them to call me and tell me when my ultra sound will be. Most likely, a biopsy will follow. Of course I have managed to work myself up even though he tried to tell me not to, that we need to get some test back & go from there.
Those of us that know about specialist know a Neurosurgeon does not order test or treat thyroid problems. But he said he is concerned and wants me to have everying I need test wise if I need to return to my surgical oncologist. Says he can get things done faster b/c he has pull.
So that is where I am at. In just a little bit here, I am going to pop my copy of the disc into my computer and check out the catscan myself (yes, I can read x-rays, etc).
So I need lots of prayers and positive vibes sent my way. That is the reason I was posting (to request that) and now I don't have the energy to do it again.
Your card did make me feel good at a really bad moment. I guess when all this started, I was over confident that I would make it through with minimal effort and now I am just wearing out. Sigh, I just need a breather and I will be ready to tackle whatever comes next.
I know I will make it through, but right now it just seems so overwhelming. But I have friends like you to lean on as well and that is very comforting. Thanks for your concern, sweetie, and for letting me get it all out! I feel like just a wee bit of weight has left my shoulders!
