Please keep me in your prayers as I have my surgery on Monday. I will be having a mastectomy and lymph nodes removed. "Thank You" to all of you who share their stories and encouragement. You are all a blessing!! Hugs, Diane

I hope there is enough space

I hope there is enough space for your surgeon to maneuver around on Monday~ the entire operating room will be filled with all of your pink sisters! You will no doubt feel our presence everywhere~ we are cheering you on and calming you at the very same time~ amazing, aren't we???

That operating room will be filled with the professionals - doctors, nurses and the your personal cheering section made up of the BC sisterhood. Take time for yourself this weekend and plan something fun. Take care and may God hold you in the palm of His/Her hand. Prayers will be a steady stream from us all. Lola

Chickad52, I will keep you in my prayers. I had the exact same surgery a year ago November 25. I was home in time to have Thanksgiving dinner with my family and even got out and about shopping on Black Friday evening.

Diane - I pray that you will have a successful surgery and that you will be blessed with peace in your heart. This is a scary time, but if you have all of these prayers and good thoughts with you, you will be strong. I want you to know that when I first got on to this websight, you were the first sister to welcome me, and I appreciated that so much. Diane, please know that you will be surrounded by those of us who have gone before you, and in turn we will be waiting to hear from you when you are well enough to post. The surgery will be over and done with on Monday, and then you begin your time of healing. Lots of thoughts coming your way....hang in there. Hugs.

More prayers for you

This is my first post but I wanted to add my prayers. I was initially scheduled for my lumpectomy Nov. 23 but got rescheduled because of Thanksgiving to Nov. 30. I certainly understand the emotional rollercoaster! My personal mantra has become, Lord by your stripes I am healed, maybe that can give you some comfort.

I will keep you in my prayers. I'm sure the weekend will feel long for you, but try to relax and not think about Monday until, well, Monday! Listen to the Doctors. Get plenty of rest.
