Hi all. Well today was the day of my hubby's results of the scans, scope and biopsies. ALL DEAD ~ is what the Oncologist told us today! We are so thankful to our Heavenly Father. Next step is surgery, but we don't have a date set yet. The Oncologist thinks that in the next 3 weeks or less he will be having surgery.
We are very excited, nervous, and a little scared at the same time.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

Hey there Shelly

God must be running a "special on Miracles in the month of November 2009". I am totally blown away by all the good results we have been having. Maybe He blesses those who aren't afraid to give him the credit. All too often we hear HIS name uttered only in profanity, it's about time HE gets something good said about HIM! Without Him, I would be nothing.

Yes you are excited, nervous, scared and yet peaceful because you know you have put it "all in HIS hands." There's no better place to be, even when things don't turn out the way we dreamed they would. But oh how our faith is bolstered and our trust deepened when HE "pulls another rabbit out of HIS hat!" You're gonna' do just fine. Chemo is the worst part. Three weeks out for the operation sounds about right.

Keep on looking up, cause God's looking down at you and looking out for you! We can trust a God who knows the number of the stars and calls them all by their names. That's our God!

Your news gives us hope. My mother has completed her radiation and chemo. She has a pet scan on the 25th. Please all of you angels out there send a prayer out for my mom. I don't post much but I do spend a lot of time reading all of the posts on this board and it gives me strength and comfort knowing all of you are out there fighting too.

Thank you Trish,
I am sorry to hear that your husband is having a hard time after surgery. I am keeping him in my prayers continually.
Unfortunately, my friend Nancy passed away the other day. She contracted Hepatitis C as a teenager and had many, many years of medical problems from it. She sadly left behind a wonderful husband and 3 children. She is now pain free in heaven.
Thank you for the prayers! I will let everyone know as soon as we know of the surgery date. We will be going to UCLA on Dec. 3rd to talk to the surgeon.
Blessings,
Shelly
