Love Springfield
			
I live in NW Indiana.  But I love Springfield.  My family vacationed every year in Branson for 14 straight years.  Spent some time in your town.  So like missgogo would love a friend but not so close.

But, I highly recommend getting into a bc support group.  Most hospitals and cancer centers have them.  Just ask your oncologist about one.

Not too Far
			
I live outside of St. Louis, about 3 1/2 hours away from Springfield. We have friends that live there and we do get down that way some. We get to Branson about twice a year. Still a little too far to get together for lunch. There should be support groups around but I'm not familiar with any there. I'm fairly new to bc and if I remember correct I think you are too. Hang in there and keep in touch.
