Well the day started out pretty well! I just got back from my surgeon's office and NO MORE CHEMO!!!!!!!!!Yeah!! Great b-day present huh? What a gift! We are looking at the 23rd for surgery. I am so happy to be moving onto the next step,yet I'm pretty nervous about the surgery though(Lumpectomy)only because of the possible Lymph Node involvement, but soooo ready to get this darn beast out of me! On a funnier note-as I'm driving home I notice to my right there is this van kind of cruising along beside me...I look over and there is this guy gaulking at me. Ok,I was flattered at first,but then had to think..if he only knew! I kept trying to speed up to ditch him but like 3 times he cruised up beside me. So,I smiled & thought,what would he do(& boy would I love to see the look on his face!)if I took off my wig?! ROFLMAO! Anyway-Chemo Queen & Chicks,sorry for bowing out on ya only after 2 rounds but I have had this beast in me way too long. I will be thinking & praying for all of you that your day will come soon too & you can move onto your next phase of treatment. Now onto celebrating the rest of my day.......

    Yes, I, too, would love to have seen his face if you had taken your wig off. The only problem is it would have probably caused an accident. Wishing you a wonderful birthday. It sounds like you already got your present...no more chemo. Yipee!!!

    I know the feeling, so many times I wanted to just rip the wigs off in public, just for shock value. I have a wierd sense of humor. I'd wait until I'd see someone staring because I had this little cap on with the hair halo and then I'd start moving it around on my head to see their reaction. The reactions varied from thumbs up to averting their eyes. You do what you gotta do. I would have loved to see his face if you did it.

    Hey girl...glad to hear you are done with chemo...I cant believe you only have to do 2 rounds. Why is that? Just curious..are you still taking Herceptin for a year?
