To all those behind me in this fight ~ YOU CAN DO THIS!

To all those ahead of me ~ Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, kinds words, & wisdom.

And btw ~ My Gen Surgeon is my newest bestest friend!!!!

Thanks, Cathy & Shortcake!!!

I was so excited, I didn't even really care that the other drain wasn't coming out today!

So......Am I now considered "A Survivor"???? even though I still need to go through the whole chemo thing????

Lots of love ~ Sherri

You go girl .. Survivor .. we are all suvivors .. I guess what I saying is that once chemo treatments have been completed .. need to kill those pesty little chemo cells hanging out in our body ... Your onc will tell you .. at some point in time that is 'no evidence of diease ..or as we like to say NED ..

Sherri, thank you for sharing your news. Glad to hear no node involvement. We're dancing for you as you will probably be dancing when you're healed up from the surgery. Give youself time to heal and take care of yourself. An Answer to prayer on your behalf. Love!

Sherria, I'm so happy for you!! Great news!! The chemo is not a picnic but definately doable. I've completed that portion and am on my 5th radiation treatment. You probably won't have to do Rads, so you are coming down the home stretch. Good luck!! We'll all be here every step of the way with you.

I was so elated that I had no node involvement I didn't even think to ask what stage!! And, as far as the path report fingings??? I can read each word, but when you put it all together, it might as well be Chinese. OMG, is that crazy or what? Hold on I'm calling the Dr!!!

Thanks for bringing me back down to reality!!!

maybe you won't need chemo... ask doc about the oncotype test. chemo also depends on the other parts of your path. like if you are er/pr positive or negitive? and your her2 is it positive or negitive? Did your Doc say anything about that part??

Ohhhh, yes, I am ER+ & PR+ ~ HER2 negative. Sorry wasn't thinking about that part. I knew those results prior to surgery. Is that called PRE-chemo Brain?? lol They had originally told me I was definitely getting chemo.

report was better than mine and I don't have to have chemo. I was stage 2a no lymph node and er/pr positive and her2 negitive. I scored a 10 on the oncotype test so that put me in a catagory that chomo would not be a real benefit for me.
