I was diagnosed Aug 2009 with triple positive breast cancer with liver mets. I have taken 3 treatments of Adriamycin/Cytoxen. I go this Monday the 9th for a repeat PET scan to see how effective the chemo has been. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers for good results.

I was diagnosed as stage 3a

I was diagnosed as stage 3a and after 4 cycles of A/C I was downsized to stage 2. My tumors were huge. Thinking good and positive thoughts that you receive good results.

Hi Deb,

For me, the time surrounding my tests, before and after, while waiting for the results, are when I'm obsessed with the thoughts of everything that I usually push out of my mind. I meditate often during that time and really try to distract myself because it's the best way for me to cope. My husband, my hero :), also, helps me with his unconditional support.

Use whatever you need to find comfort, relief and support during this time. Come here to us, and we will do our best to help you keep your spirits up. Hang in there.

And, of course, I will keep you in my thoughts, meditate and pray for you during this time.

You are in my prayers for good news. The waiting is the very worst part. Thats what we are here for. Come here for support and comfort. I also watched many movies during the wait time.

I join in praying for you, Deb, and for excellent results from the PET scan. My friend Nena has lung cancer, and has been well for over a year--chemo shrank the tumors substantially, and she is now on maintenance meds, living a good and active life. So, chemo does work. I'll be thinking of you especially on Monday and praying and sending positive thoughts to you.

p.s. Your dog looks so sweet, obedient, and intelligent. Mine are unruly things!

Chen is right - that PET scan room is going to be mighty crowded girl. Just think of us as a bunch of (now don't get me wrong) Tinkerbell pixies scattering pixie dust. OK not such a good image and the pixie dust might mess up the machine. So instead, know that we are there in heart and spirit praying along with you for effective chemo results. God Bless, Lola

They said should have the

They said should have the results in two days, Im hoping they have gotten the results tomorrow when I go for my bloodwork.
