I go see the cancer dr. tomorrow and hopefully my 3rd. chemo treatment.And one more to go after that one.I have not been to dr. since my last chemo and i had a bad reaction.I hope she just changes my Chemo meds.And I don,t have any set backs.I so want to be done with Chemo.If you will pray it all goes well. Thanks everyone.i appriatte it.Love and prayers.(Pat).

Bad reactions can sometimes mean that you can't do that drug any longer--for example, when it's an allergic reaction and it's severe (meaning you're having or close to having anaphylactic shock). For other reactions, they deal with it in a variety of ways, depending on the severity, the need for the patient to have the treatment, the other options . . .


Ask your doctor--don't be afraid to say, I'm a little nervous about chemo today because of xyz that happened last time. It's always a good idea to remind your chemo team about such things. Also, ask them what or whether they're going to give you to help prevent a repeat occurrence.

Good luck, Pat.  I'm sending positive vibes your way and hoping that you do not have a reaction this time.  I know how badly you want to be finished with that portion of your treatment. Hey ppurdin , my lovie goes in for her second treatment tomorrow and I'm sure all will go just fine for you . I wish you and the rest of these fine ladies our best and know you will all beat this . There is too many positive conversations in this forum so I know nobody here is gonna give up.

I think about you alot cuz you know, its hard enough going thru chemo and the diagnosis and all, but to have reactions to your chemo is just not fair. 


I will pray for you tonight that all goes well and you will not be afraid.
