Thank you to everyone that participates here. I've been able to get a better feel for the answers to a lot of my questions having multiple answers, instead of just those in one doctor's office.

Tomorrow morning I have a PET scan. I had been worried that everyone kept blowing off the small spot (1/4") on my liver that was picked up by my CT scan before I was Dx'd with cancer. It is on the posterior side, so the surgeons couldn't see it. They did biopsy one of the small granules on the front of my liver - benign. The thought is what the CT saw on the backside is the same thing, only a little larger. But I really want to know for sure, and the oncologist felt the same way.

I'm praying for a clear scan, but I will be relieved to know either way, instead of worrying about it.

For today my oncologist says I'm in remission because as far as we know, with my clear margins, all cancer has been removed. I hope that he stills says the same thing after the PET scan! I'd prefer to stay Stage III, rather than hear that I'm actually at IV.

    cysts?
    Hi Kathryn,

Im' stage IIIc. Have 3 cysts(not mets) on my liver and 2 on my kidney diagnosed by CT scan. Have been the same size for 5 years (prior to cancer). It's always scarey getting the results of tests. I will be praying for you.

    Blessings to you,
    Debbie (gramma)
