Not sure how to get around this site, if anyone can throw me some help, that would be great, Been living with cancer for a year now as the caretaker, and some days I jsut feel lost and I have my friends but don't really understand, they are just looking in from the outside, I was looking for some support who understands what it truly like to be losing the one , your true love to cancer, and you arethe one who is there 24/7 taking acare of him

Thanks Patty

    Patty, I am very sorry...
about your loved one. I trust you have followed EVERY lead and EVERY ray of hope that might improve the situation.
I sincerely suggest that you find some avenue of help as far as caring for him 24/7. You don't want to reach the end of your own resources (physical, mental, emotional) while he still needs you to be there for him.
As far as getting around this site, you created an account and found your way to post here, so you are doing great! Just spend a few minutes staring at your sign in page (home page) and things will start to come into focus. That is where you find these boards, the chat rooms, the internal email system, and other services. There is also a CSN HELP spot in the upper right of your screen. But mostly we just ask each other for help when we can't make something work, like you just did in your post above. Just be specific about what you need to know and someone will chime in with an explanation.
Keep posting and chasing down those rays of hope.
    God bless.

I am hoping to connect with others also who are experiencing the same pain. My wife has stage four kidney cancer. We met and dated in high school, married in mid 20's. Now we are late 50's. Our lives are so intertwined, I cannot image what life would be without her. We have a positive attitude on the outside, but much pain inside. I understand what its like for you. We have been fighting this battle for four years. I believe that god has a reason for this, and some day I will understand what it is. Right now, I do my best to make her life as comfortable and as good as I can.
