Just wanted to let all of you know that the cancer is back, the fluid they removed is full of tumor cells. I start a new chemo regimen next Friday. We just got home from Mayo, and a bit wore out...so headed to bed. I'll be on more later on this weekend.

William,
Thank you so much for your post, it really helped this morning. I still have a positive attitude about all of this, and am going to fight with all my heart!! I really appreciate you sharing that article with me, it is great. I do believe I should have had pre-op chemo as well, but from all my tests and scans they thought the tumor was minute, in which it turned out not to be. I hope to one day be able to say that I am a several year survivor as you are able to. Thanks again, William! You and Loretta are a great inspiration.

Cathy,
Just want to wish you luck tomorrow. I wish I could bottle your attitude. My husband could use a dose.

Jane,

thank you!! I would definitely bottle up my attitude if I could and send it your way. In my opinion, letting myself get down in the dumps and feeling sorry for myself isn't going to get me anywhere, so I go through everything with my head held high, ready to jump over the next hurdle.
