After surgery...

I had my surgery wednesday and today is the first day I've been able to sit at my computer. The surgery was twice as long as predicted and the incision much bigger! The cyst had grown since the last ct scan and was about the size of an orange. But the amazing news is that the pathology came back today and it was benign! It was such a huge relief that I cried. I wanted to thank you all so much for being here and talking to me while I waited for the surgery. You have no idea how much your input helped and bolstered my spirits. You are a fabulous group of ladies and have taught me alot about keeping positive and dealing with all of this with dignity. Thank you. I wish the best for all of you!

    I am dancing while I type. I am so happy for you!! You go and enjoy life and kick up those heels.

    God sure is teaching each of us not to take life for granted, isn't He?!

    Thanks so much for your good wishes and for celebrating with me. I had my post op appointment today and did learn that they nicked an artery during my surgery and I guess things were dangerous for awhile. So I feel like I was doubly blessed that day to come through whole and healthy. And I will indeed take your advice and live so much more then I had done before. I don't want to waste a single minute. I wish that you all could get good news as well. And I will keep you ladies in my mind everytime I even think about taking my life for granted. God bless you all and keep you strong.
