If we are up and breathing, we seam OK
I think sometimes our behaviour is puzzling to people around us. I slept in (got to bed about 5:00am), woke up aroung 12:30pm, had coffee, check the boards, and took a shower. My hubby was so excited that I was dressed, that he wanted me to go run errands with him. My looks were decieving because I had to inform him the only place I was going was to Home Church this evening. I am too tired and need to rest up after my shower. Thankfully he understands "too tired". He said I just looked so perky that he wasn't even thinking.
If your too tired and don't feel like doing anything, then don't. You have been through alot! It will take a while before you can regain strength back, or set aside the stress and anxiety. I will keep you in my prayers. Hang in there. :O) Pammy

    Hi ppurdin
You just had surgery not too long ago... of course your energy level isnt going to be good. I for one would try to find something that you like to do that would allow you to take your mind off of things for a while. I found that the worst thing for me was to be too idle because I tended to dwell on everything...the trick is to find the balence.

Watch your moods though and dont hesitate to ask for an antidepressant if you need one. Lots of us are on them and there is nothing wrong with that.

    Hang in there
    Hugs

    Ppurdin, just take it easy.
Ppurdin, just take it easy. You can say no. Maybe you should talk to your oncologist about some anxiety pills, just to get you thru this for a little while.

Hi ppurdin. Having bc is hard, noone gets thru it easily. Be sure and talk to your oncologist about your mood swings and maybe he can prescribe a safe antidepressant for a little while. I hope you feel better soon.

    Hi
I think mood swings and bc go hand in hand. You have to remember that we are fighting a deadly disease, and, that isn't easy. Just give yourself a break and know that it is going to happen. Hope you are feeling better!
