Hey guys! I'm writing from sunny (or in this case rainy) FL. My sister had her first TC treatment today! I've got her on plenty of fluids and I must say she's doing very well. She goes in on Friday morning for her Neulasta shot and we're stocked up on the extra strength Tylenol just incase :) I again wanted to thank everyone for their support and well wishes. Hope everyones day is going great! God Bless you all

    You are a wonderful sister and I am glad your sister is doing well.
    If your sister starts to get muscle and bone pain from the Neulasta shot ask her oncologist about taking Claritin if the Tylenol doesn't help. I don't know how it works but it works. I took the generic of Claritin and stopped the pain.

    So you guys have jokes
    Everytime I come down to FL it rains like H***! My sister says since it was raining before I got here, this time she won't blame me for the rain. Thanks guys for all of the support.

    How did your sister do with her port? I'd be interested to know because my port is in my breast also. Love Surf

    She's doing great
    She's doing great! Thank you for asking. After the first two days she was pain free and running around. :) She sleeps on her side so it hasn't bothered her. It's weird because you can feel it and as soon as she saw me, she was making me touch it! LOL

    Joint Pains getting her down
    Hey Leeza! Thanks for checking in on us. My sisters joint pains from the Neulasta shot have floored her. She's in a lot of pain. She tried to go to work on Monday and I think exerted herself too much. Now she's been home for two days and it seems to be getting better. I told her next treatment she's just going to have to take at least 6 days off to fully recuperate. She's a bus driver and works like 10 hour shifts, she's around all sorts of people and I just don't think it's a great idea with her immune system being so sensitive. Put we're chugging along :) Thanks for asking.
