I am married to a man who has testicular cancer. He is 30. I am 29 years old and we have 3 children (1 boy, 2 girls). We just had a baby girl on June 19 (4 weeks early) and found out he has the cancer on July 13. He had the surgery to remove his right testicle on July 16 ( our daughters due date). Recovery has not been to hard for him thank god. We are now finding out that we have a long road ahead of us. It is either chemo or another surgery to remove lymphnodes or he could have to have both. We are done haveing children now so that complication (due to surgery or chemo) is not a problem. This is so hard to deal with. I can not imagine what my husband is going through. What I would like to know is if the surgery to remove the lymphnodes is really as bad as people say it is. And what about the chemo? Is it also really bad?
