Thanks Yes today is my last chemo treatment before I start just the Herceptin in August once every three weeks for one year.
I don't know what I am feeling--kind of numb--one step/treatment at a time. I don't know if it is because I won't be going for treatment every week. I think I will feel something after today is done. My chemo isn't until noon and with the steriods and benedryl I will be bouncing off the walls tonight and not getting much sleep.
Celebration: I don't know yet--Jake's birthday is tomorrow--party for him on Saturday.

Congratulations on completing chemo, Margo. I understand what you mean about not knowing how or what you feel. It did take a while for the impact of my last chemo to really sink in for me, too. As days passed, and I realized I didn't have to get geared up for next treatment, that's when I felt real relief and happiness.
Wishing you joy and relief also.

Congratulations on your last chemo. I hope that you will have enough energy to deal with the kids at Jake's party. According to my 10 year old son the jump from 5 to 6 is full of challenges and as a six year old you get a lot more responsibilites.In his opinion you are " no longer a baby".Oh the wisdom of boys.
