Hey - I wanted to share a funny moment from my mother-in-law.
She has metastatic breast cancer and has had mastectomy of her left breast.
She has taken to teetering around and also fell in the bathroom this last Saturday (don't worry, no broken bones, cuts - not even a bruise!).
She started talking about it the other day and she told me she fell because one was up and one was down (I looked at her a moment to figure out what she was talking about - I thought she was talking about her legs). I asked her if she had a problem with one of her legs. She said no, she is losing her balance because she is missing one breast.
I laughed out loud right there in the hospital lobby.
I hope y'all get a chuckle out of this, too.
I am glad she is taking some humor of it too.
