Okay Sisters and the one or two brothers out there
Breast cancer got it did treatment
Big scan on July 31st for the spot on my lung (previous date was wrong)
Menopause making me cranky, well that is a nicer word then I am thinking
thank you tomxafin
Now I went in last week to see the dermatogist and had a couple of wonky moles and freckles removed for biopsey. Got called this am and have to go see the plastic surgeon in the morning to have more of the area removed. Yep aint that wonderful.
I have dicided that I dont like being 47 and I am never doing 47 again. I am blaming it all on being 47, and am going to take all this aggresion out on 47.

    Tjhay,

I'm 47 too and I also do not want to do 47 again. It seems like it has been an awful number for the both of us. Come to think of it I know I don't want to do 47 but I would like to do 57, 67,77, 87, and 97( I think 107 is asking for a bit much). I hope all goes well on the 31st and your new picture looks great. LOVE THE HAIR, how long did it take you to get that much hair? Love Surf

I dont think 107 is asking
I dont think 107 is asking to much but then I tend to be a bit of an extreamist.
My last chemo was was in May, so it is growing pretty fast.

    Well.........
As I recall, 47 was a crappy age for me too. Yep, must be the age that is causing all of the problems! LOL!
I'd say that 107 is probably doable!! We will all shoot for that age! (well, unless I'm a drooling, incontinent old babe!)

Really sorry Tj, that you are having to go through more! Hang in there and keep us all updated.

    Hugs,

    47 sucked for me too
When I was 47, my beloved Moopy was diagnosed with BC, had a modified radical mastectomy, did six rounds of TAC, and started radiation.

I've been 48 for ten days now, and already I like it a whole lot better!

    I was diagnosed the first

I was diagnosed the first time when I was 47, so it wasn't a great year for me either. I've always said that I'm living until I'm 87...both my grandmother and mother died when they were 87.

    Me neither!
I can't remember 47 either! Actually...... come to think of it, that was the year I had to have a total hysterectomy. I guess that was a crappy year for me, too -- it's jsut been so long I hardly remember it (obviously).

    Yeah...
I'll be hoping 48 will be a WHOLE LOT BETTER for ya, Tjhay.

    Kind regards, Susan

P.S.: I was 45 when diagnosed. I feel left out, because I don't fit into this club... (just kidding)

    It is my advice
it is my advice that everyone skip turning 47, as you can see from all the response it is much wiser to go stright to 48. trust me 47 is not fun.
Then only good thing i can say about 47 is all the wonderful sisters i now have that i did not have b4

I finished chemo in September of 07, and I had hair at Christmas, so I'm betting you will too.

sorry for the problems, but you sure do look cute with your new "do" ! Sorry about the 47 being a bad year, but it will get better. I was slammed into meno by the chemo too, but the only real problem I had was the hot flashes, I am never cranky (just ask my hubby, he he).
At least you got those wonky moles checked out, if you hadn't had the bc, you might have just ignored them, right?
Hope it all gets better soon.

    44
Diagnosed at 44 for me so I hope when I reach 47 that won't be a year worse than 44 or 45.
