Not about bc, but need positive thoughts...

Hi everyone,
This morning my father called to tell me my mom is in the hosital. "Nothing serious," he says, "just some internal bleeding." OMG! Nothing serious?! My mom is 85, but internal bleeding at any age IS something serious.

The drs said she lost 3-4 qts of blood, but they are replenishing it faster than she is losing it now. They don't know why or from where the blood is leaking, but they think it might be intestinal. They hope to find out in the AM.

Pls send some positive thoughts and prayers her way. She is a sweetheart of a woman living on the "peaceful side of the Smokeys."

    How frightening! I will of course, keep your Mom and your Dad in my prayers and thoughts! As well as you!

    I hopet hat they find the source of the bleeding soon, and that it can be easily corrected.

    it means so much that my dear friends are coming through for my mom. My mom and I are great believers in the power of prayer (especially my mom :)).

    dmc...it goes without saying that Healing Thoughts are not only with your sweet mom, but of course with you as well as you fret and worry over her. This is truly what Family is all about; it doesn't have to be Cancer related~ WE are related through cyber-space and our shared journey.

    I just got an update from my little brother. My mom is on some kind of meds (my father did not know what) and my mom seems to be handling them okay. I still don't know what caused the bleeding, nor where the bleeding originated. I hope to know more in the AM.

    I am going to bed now, just in case I need to leave on short notice. In the meantime, my mom will awake to some cheery flowers, it's all I can do for now. I feel so helpless.

    I will definitely keep your Mom and you and your family in my prayers. I hope you are able to rest tonight as you will need your strength in the AM. We'll understand that if we do not hear from you right away that you are busy with this, but do keep us posted when you can. :) Pammy

    I feel so sad for you, I wish I knew what to say, that would ease your mind.
