A Special Surprise...

Last night when I got home, I had an unexpected, special surprise... It made me feel sooooo good I thought I would share it with my new "family"...

I have always been very close to my three nephews.. with my children they are almost like brothers & sister... My youngest nephew Jonathan is an Officer in the Marine Corp and is in Flight school for jets... he is 24...He is stationed in Texas going to school.

Well, last night when I got home... guess who was there with a BIG HUG for me??? Yep.. Jon.. I was soooo excited to see him... he is staying with me and just "hanging out with Aunt T" for a few days... and while he is there, he is painting one of my bedrooms for me... It was my sons room, he moved out into his own place in January and I had wanted to make it into a "relax room" for me... I just hadn't had the heart to do it yet... He said he just wanted to do something for me...awe.... He is such a great kid...

Anyway.. just wanted to share.

Have a happy day..I know I will!

    I know you guys... I'm so excited to set up my very own "relax room" I want to put a chase lounger in there.. maybe some little water falls... any ideas?? My own special room... and he's painting it for me... a pale soft real light yellow and white...

    live plants
    If you have good light you might add several live plants. They add so much to a room. Groop them with your water falls.

    Or an aquarium. I could sit for hours and watch the fish. Tash might help you with some fish. LOL

    When he is done....can you send him my way? That is great T, you so deserve it!! I like the idea of the lounger, waterfalls, plants and fishtank!! Just don't forget to water the plants! I'm starring at mine thinking I haven't given them a drink since this all started!! Yikes! :) Pammy

    ewhh... Fish ... what a wonderful idea... TASA!!!! You have some spare's...lol.. I do like the idea... and incorporating waterfalls with the plants sounds like an excellent idea... oh... I think I feel the need for shopping... and trust me... I'm not typical in that area...lol.. not usually a shopper... but I think I'm getting bit by the bug!

    If you have any hobbies, I'd make a place to work on them in there. Even if it's just a tv and DVD player to watch chick flicks on. You know how much guys like them. Then when there is a sad scene you could have your tissues handy and no one would know.

    Oh Marcia what a good idea... a room designated solely for "chick flicks"... That's definately a posibility... I have extra tv's and dvd player... good idea... I am also going to make it my "guitar room" .. I love to play and write.. so that is a definate!

    and very thoughtful of your nephew. It helps make the journey a little easier when we are loved on so sweetly by our family and friends. I love soft drapes that blow in the breeze when the windows are open~~so relaxing to be in a room like you are creating!

    Ewe.. M... I hadn't even
    Ewe.. M... I hadn't even thought about drapes... good idea.. me too!! I love the way it looks when the wind blows..,.Have to wait for fall for that because in misery.. opps missouri.. it's really hot and humid.. I have always hated sanuas.. go figure I would move to one.. but drapes would be great in the fall with the windows open.. Now.. what color... The room is a yellow.. a bit softer than a standard post it note... with white trim... okay color ideas.. my sista's.
